Safety and Protocols

At Teyuna Tours we prioritize your safety throughout the entire Lost City tour experience.

1. Sanitary Protocols

We implement the following protocols to ensure your health and well-being:

  • Daily disinfection of all equipment
  • First aid kits with basic supplies in each group
  • Optional: rapid test at the start of the tour (additional cost)
  • Guides trained in biosafety protocols

2. Route Safety

  • Certified guides: All our guides have SENA and National Parks certification
  • Communication equipment: Radios in all groups and support points
  • First aid kits: Equipped for basic first aid
  • Established routes: We only use authorized trails
  • Small groups: Maximum 12 people per guide

3. Recommended Equipment

Mandatory

  • Trekking boots (snake protection)
  • Raincoat (rain is frequent)
  • Insect repellent
  • Identification document

Recommended

  • Trekking poles
  • Sunscreen
  • Cap or hat
  • Headlamp

4. Emergency Protocol

  • Medical assistance: Evacuation points every 2 hours of walking
  • 24/7 Contact: (+57) 302 3625104 (WhatsApp and calls)
  • Insurance: All tours include basic assistance insurance
  • Coordination: We work with Civil Defense and local authorities

5. Payment Security

  • Payment platforms with PCI DSS certification
  • We do not store credit card data
  • Electronic invoicing with all required data
